How paying for Landmate will work. Billing covers the Landmate subscription only; collecting rent is not part of Landmate.

Billing is **not available yet**. Nobody is charged for Landmate today.

## What billing will cover

Billing covers the **subscription for Landmate itself**, paid by the workspace. Plans and prices have not been announced; they will be published before anyone is asked to pay.

## Who can manage billing

- **Owners** can view and manage billing. Managing billing asks for a fresh sign-in.
- **Managers** can view billing but cannot change it.
- **Staff** and **Read-only** members have no access to billing.

## Rent is not part of Landmate yet

Landmate does not collect rent, and residents cannot pay rent through Landmate. Collecting rent is a possible later feature, separate from Landmate's own subscription billing; it is listed as planned and has no release date.
