Frequently asked questions
Short, honest answers about where Landmate stands today.
What is Landmate?
Landmate is software for managing residential and commercial rental properties — buildings, shopping plazas and the units inside them. It is in early development.
Can I use Landmate today?
Not yet. Landmate is not open to the public. When sign-up opens, the "Sign up or sign in" page on this website will say so and link to the app.
What is being built right now?
The platform foundation: workspaces, team roles and permissions, locations, account security (including multi-factor authentication and session management), English and Spanish throughout, and mobile apps for iOS and Android.
The product overview page describes each part and labels it as in development or planned.
Can I manage properties, units, leases, maintenance or rent in Landmate?
Not yet. Those rental-management features are planned but have not been built. We will not describe them as available until they are.
How much will Landmate cost?
Pricing has not been announced. Landmate will be offered as a subscription, and plans and prices will be published before anyone is asked to pay.
Can residents pay rent through Landmate?
No. Collecting rent is a possible later feature and is not part of Landmate today. The only payment Landmate plans to handle at first is the subscription for Landmate itself.
What is a "workspace"?
A workspace is one organization's account in Landmate: its members, locations, files and settings. We say "workspace" for the customer account so that the word "tenant" can keep its everyday meaning — a person who rents.
Is Landmate available in Spanish?
Yes. The website, the web app and the mobile apps are written in English and formal Spanish.
Is there a mobile app?
Apps for iOS and Android are in development. They are not available in the app stores yet.
Does Landmate use AI?
An optional AI assistant is in development. It can suggest and draft, but it does not send messages, change records or collect money on its own: a person reviews and approves every action.
Does this website use cookies or trackers?
No. This website does not set cookies for visitors and does not load advertising or analytics trackers. The only cookie in its code is a short-lived sign-in check used by the site's own editors when they log in to the content editor. The cookie policy (a draft for now) lists it.
