Landmate is building an optional AI assistant. This page explains what it is designed to do and, just as importantly, what it will never do on its own.
What it can do
- Suggest: point out something you may want to look at, or propose a next step.
- Draft: write a first version of a message, a note or a summary for you to edit.
- Answer questions about information you already have access to in your workspace.
What it cannot do without you
The assistant never sends, changes or collects anything on its own:
- it does not send messages or emails;
- it does not create, change or delete records;
- it does not move or collect money.
Anything the assistant proposes is shown to you first. Nothing happens until a person reviews it and explicitly approves it.
Who can use it
- Owners, Managers and Staff can use the assistant, within their locations.
- Read-only members cannot.
- Only Owners can configure it for the workspace, including turning it off.
The assistant only sees what the person using it is allowed to see.
Disclosure
AI-generated text is labelled as such. AI output can be wrong; please check it before you rely on it. The AI disclosure describes which AI service providers process data and how; it is a draft until it is approved and published.
